Let Nigerian politicians learn from Suntai’s death – Nigerians react to ex-governor’s demise

Reactions have continued to trail the death of former Taraba state governor, Mr Danbaba Suntai.
Governor Danbaba Suntai was seriously injured when his plane crashed on October 25, 2012 in Yola, capital of Adamawa state.
He suffered extensive brain damage in the process and has now been confirmed dead in the United States of America.
Punch reports that Suntai had remained unconscious since the crash of the helicopter on October 25, 2012, in Adamawa state.

Mr Emmanuel Bello,a former commissioner of Information in the state, confirmed the death of the former governor in Abuja on Wednesday, June 28.
Bello, who served in the regime of Suntai, said the “former governor died in the United states.”

Five years after he was involved in a helicopter crash which he flew with some of his aides on October 25, 2012, ex-governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba died today Wednesday June 28 in United States of America.

Governor Danbaba Suntai was involved in a plane crash. The plane, a Cessna 208, 5N-BMJ, crashed at about 7.45 p.m. He was piloting the plane, which crashed near the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, depot in Yola, the Adamawa State capital.

– Eyewitness account has detailed how late Danbaba Suntai’s plane was crashed
– Suntai died at US hospital on Wednesday June 28
– The eyewitness reported that as they heard the sound of the crash, they picked their touch lights as it was already getting dark and they ran to the scene of the crash
The People of Namtari village; a suburb of Yola the capital of Adamawa state, who were the first eye witnesses to arrive the scene of the Plane crash involving the Taraba state governor Danbaba Suntai who has now been flown to Germany for better medical attention from the National hospital Abuja where he was initially receiving care, gave their account of how the crash happened.
